The property was originally owned by the Hastie family who farmed it along with the now subdivided land to the west, and to the east now ‘The Sanctuary’ lifestyle subdivision.
Reduced farming intensity has allowed natural regeneration of indigenous vegetation on the property to gradually occur over the past 30 to 40 years.
